The sport of pigeon racing has changed considerably these last 50 years, today’s fanciers are always seeking an edge on their fellow competitors which will enable them to try and keep ahead of the opposition. While there have been many changes in many aspects of husbandry, feeding, transport etc., healthy pigeons have to be every fancier’s priority that continues to seek for consistent success at the very highest level of competition, be it club, federation or National level with their much prized pigeons.
We can state for certain, that we all live in an uncertain world where medical supervision must be given serious consideration in an ever changing climate especially where a pigeon’s health is concerned. Nobody can take chances or gamble where their pigeon’s health is concerned especially if we want our pigeons to perform at the very highest level. Just giving pigeons plain food and water is no longer an option which we had in the past…pigeon racing has moved on more especially if we want to win races on a regular basis. Today we need “natural” products that will enhance and protect our pigeons immunity from many of today’s diseases, some of which, I might add, have to some extent been self-inflicted by some fanciers using antibiotics for every concealable pigeon illness.
Without question, ‘Wonder Pigeon’ from Harkers has got to be the FINEST and BEST product I have used these past 50 years, in breeding and racing pigeons, and as most know, we have been winning races for many years, with natural products/tonics. More to the point such tried and tested products can also be given in conjunction with ‘Wonder Pigeon’ such as Honey, especially in very hot weather conditions. I have found ‘Wonder Pigeon’ does help to keep young birds healthy, with no sickness, and no bad digestion disorders of any kind. If anyone were to ask me what the real benefit of using ‘Wonder Pigeon’ was, I would have no hesitation in stating that it is the number one health product of today in helping to keep all our racing pigeons in perfect health. I am also extremely hopeful that by using such a product on a regular basis I can see a future where there is a chance that ‘Wonder Pigeon’ will replace antibiotics for evermore! (which is what we ALL want.)
It is true to state, that I have never witnessed such a truly remarkable transformation in my pigeons health as I have this year when using this wonderful health product for the first time, it is indeed a product that in my opinion has to be worth its weight in gold! Furthermore it is a product that I think that many other fanciers will be using for years to come. We had very good racing when living in the UK which has continued whilst living in France. Our racing record speaks for itself these past nine years winning many “ace” pigeon awards from all distances.
With racing starting late this year for us due to a new loft being erected, we commenced racing on the 19th April, below are our club wins so far this season racing in a small club.
